Today 300 PPI/DPI is the industry standard for the best print quality. That being said, depending on the printed size of your drawing, a lower DPI/PPI will also be acceptable. But I would not recommend going lower than 150 DPI/PPI. My rule of thumb is to go with a bit larger canvas size than I actually need.
